It all started with one very crooked bedside table that the passionate pair conjured into being from a pile of discarded pine offcuts one sunny afternoon in Franco's dad's workshop.
That wobbly first attempt paved the way for the Houthakker team to embrace woodworking in earnest, and soon they were selling bespoke furniture pieces and working on dream commissions. This is how they realised that they love creating scenic furniture and decor pieces that lighten up a room without breaking the bank.
Today, the beautiful Houthakker range includes a selection of wooden bath caddies, cutting boards, benches, and stools, as well as cosy pillow covers that have been lovingly and locally created to bring a touch of warmth to classic and contemporary spaces alike.
