Mahina (meaning moon) was born when founder and surfer Paige Bannatyne set out to purchase a changing towel for herself but was unable to find a local product made from natural fibre. With a focus on the origin of fabric and supporting our local economy, the brand creates towels that are 100% South African, using cotton grown in Mpumalanga and then lovingly handmade in Cape Town. Thanks to a classic design available in various sizes for adults and kids, these oversized poncho-like towels can be used by just about anyone to change in and out of clothes in a public space with convenience and ease.
