But things weren't always so simple for the team behind it... Retrenched by their previous employer, three colleagues Layla, Wafeeqah, and Fabian banded together to create a lifeline for themselves and foster opportunities for other former co-workers. It took bold courage, hard work, and amazing support to grow the business into the thriving enterprise it is today, operating from its own small factory in Epping, Cape Town.
