Elula means 'simple' in isiXhosa - a very apt name for a proudly South African furniture brand that has reinvented the very notion of straightforward, uncomplicated design. But things weren't always so simple for the team behind it... Retrenched by their previous employer, three colleagues Layla, Wafeeqah, and Fabian banded together to create a lifeline for themselves and foster opportunities for other former co-workers. It took bold courage, hard work, and amazing support to grow the business into the thriving enterprise it is today, operating from its own small factory in Epping, Cape Town. It is here where their passionate, well-equipped team designs and manufactures the beautiful Elula range using local, sustainable, and non-toxic materials. Each item is made to order and can be customised in myriad ways. This includes a comprehensive selection of tables, desks, shelving, storage, seating, screens, dividers, lighting, mirrors, accessories, kids' furniture, and more. The bustling business also provides turnkey design and manufacturing services to trade and retail.
