Popstrukt puts the fun back in functional furniture. When Adriaan Louw and his wife Michelle moved into their first home, they quickly realised that having artisanal kombucha taste on a Cream Soda budget was not a vibe. The furniture they liked was pretty pricey, and the more affordable kind was either rickety or not ayoba. Cue a major lightbulb moment. Instead of accepting the uninspiring status quo, Adriaan proceeded to design a unique range of flatpack furniture that is as versatile as it is cool-looking. And so, ladies and gents, Popstrukt was born. Seven years down the line, design-savvy South Africans can now take their online pick from a collection of affordable storage solutions and decor elements that come in eyeball-pleasing colours like carbon grey, signal yellow, and oxide red. This includes sturdy-yet-striking side tables, media units, lockers, and more. The flatpack design keeps prices nice and low, and although assembly is intuitive and fun ('like Lego for grownups'), the furniture can also be assembled on your behalf if time is tight (or thumbs are many). In short, there's no more need to get tied up in knots when decorating on a shoestring — just Popstrukt it!
