When it comes to style, variety and quality, local kids clothing brand Carter and Me tick all the boxes. The brand’s story begins with a mother and her newborn baby Carter. Living in Ballito on South Africa’s North Coast, Jocilyn sought to create a brand that embraced gender-neutral kids clothing of excellent quality. After seven years of establishing Carter and Me as a well-loved brand, Jocilyn moved into a new life season and sold the business to a local family looking for a new project to take on. Today, new owner Carmen and her team are as passionate as ever to create high-quality and trendy clothing and accessories for babies and kids aged 0 to 6. Believing in slow fashion, each item is handmade by a mother and daughter team from Zimbabwe using locally sourced cotton. Some of our favourites include their lightweight muslin rompers (perfect for summer), stylish track sets and clever pacifier blankets. Soft, easy to wear, and suitable for sleep and play – your kids will have a blast living in Carter and Me.
