Founded by multilingual creative Adhiambo Mula-Lauwers, Galago draws on traditional techniques and craftsmanship to create contemporary products filled with soul. Think espadrilles with colourful, African-inspired prints, beaded belts and dog collars, and sheep wool shoes adorned with floral designs. Their brand principles are clear: they believe in sustainability in their employment practices, consciousness in the materials they source and honouring their African heritage. Their products are handcrafted in a sunny studio in Johannesburg by women from the local community, and all their raw materials are sourced from South Africa and Kenya.
