Living in Ballito on South Africa’s North Coast, Jocilyn sought to create a brand that embraced gender-neutral kids clothing of excellent quality. After seven years of establishing Carter and Me as a well-loved brand, Jocilyn moved into a new life season and sold the business to a local family looking for a new project to take on. Today, new owner Carmen and her team are as passionate as ever to create high-quality and trendy clothing and accessories for babies and kids aged 0 to 6. Believing in slow fashion, each item is handmade by a mother and daughter team from Zimbabwe using locally sourced cotton.
